(A) This Commission shall be known as the Solid Waste Advisory Commission.
(B) This subchapter is enacted to create a Commission whose purpose is to evaluate the present status of solid waste alternatives available to the citizens of the county. The evaluation is to be based upon both existing and proposed facilities as well as the legal alternatives presently available. The objective of the Commission is to make recommendations as to the courses of action regarding solid waste alternatives including proposing legislation.
