The purpose of this chapter is to safeguard public health and assure that all public and semi-public pools and spas meet minimum safety standards. This chapter and the regulations incorporated into this chapter establishes definitions, sets standards for management and personnel, pool operations, and equipment and facilities and provides for public and semi-public pool and spa permits, inspections, fines, and employee restrictions.
