§ 33.02  DEFINITIONS.
   (A)   The word MAGISTRATE is defined in R.C. § 2931.01 as including “mayor.”  The term MAGISTRATE, where used in this code, may be considered to include “mayor.”
   (B)   R.C. Chapter 1907 creates in each county a court known as the county court.  The office of “justice of the peace” and the “justice of the peace court” have been abolished.  The term “justice of the peace” or references to the justices' courts in this code may be considered to refer to the county judges and county courts.
