§ 96.05  ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON PUBLIC PROPERTY PROHIBITED; EXCEPTION.
   (A)   No person, firm, or corporation shall drink, consume, transport, carry, or possess any alcoholic beverage, including intoxicating liquor and beer as defined in R.C. § 4301.01, within the boundaries of any property owned and operated by the city for recreation purposes, including parks and fishing areas of the city.
   (B)   This section does not apply to festivals or special events for which the City Council gives special permission for the serving of alcoholic beverages, nor to residential properties contractually leased to individuals.
   (C)   Whoever violates any provision of this section shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
