(A) MANAGED NATURAL LANDSCAPED AREAS shall be defined as designed and cultivated plant communities that are self-sustaining with minimal resort to artificial methods of plant care and that serve at least 1 of the following purposes:
(1) The offset and control of a potential or existing soil loss.
(2) The enrichment or stabilization of soil fertility.
(3) Governmental programs, including, without limitation, conservation, storm water control, and well field protection.
(4) Educational studies.
(B) Managed natural landscaped area shall be designated by the City Manager or his designee.
