§ 34.059  DIVISION OF ELECTRICITY.
   The Division of Electricity shall be under the direction of the Superintendent of Electricity, who shall be accountable to the Director of Municipal Services and/or City Manager. The Division shall perform the following functions:
   (A)   Operate, maintain and repair the municipal electrical system including buildings used by the Division of Electricity, general equipment, distribution lines, meters and all equipment pertaining to the performance of its function of supplying electricity to all customers of the municipality;
   (B)   Furnish, maintain, and operate a street lighting system and, for all municipal buildings and installations, the necessary lighting and electrical wiring; and
   (C)   Maintain accurate records of all operations and of the quantity and kind of electricity sold to consumers, and make available to the Department of Finance the information necessary to render invoices to customers for electrical consumption.
   (D)   Assist other departments in performing their work and/or other duties as assigned by the Director of Municipal Services and/or the City Manager.
