(A) Part-time, permanent part-time, temporary, or seasonal employees may be hired by the City Manager at a rate of pay consistent with the duties to be performed. The compensation for these employees, with the exception of professional engineers, will be determined solely by the City Manager and may fall in a pay range established by City Council. EMS employees shall be paid in accordance with the schedule adopted by City Council by ordinance and as amended.
(B) Except as currently noted herein, no part-time, permanent part-time, temporary, or seasonal employees are eligible for any fringe benefits offered and available to all full-time city employees except as otherwise noted in this chapter.
