(A) The Fire Chief, department officers, and members of the Fire Division shall be compensated at a rate as approved by the City Council.
(B) Payment for weekly equipment check, special maintenance, and reporting and filing of payroll shall be paid at the applicable active duty rate.
(C) All members of the Fire Division shall not miss more than 2 consecutive meetings a year, unless an excused absence is granted in advance by the Fire Chief or his or her designee. Weather permitting, the members of the Fire Division shall take out, and practice with the fire equipment at each and every practice meeting.
(D) The city shall provide accident and disability insurance to all volunteer fire personnel.
(E) Excepting the Fire Chief, Assistant Chief, or as otherwise provided for by Council, the officers and members shall be paid for their attendance in accordance with city policy.
