The Fire Chief shall cause inspections to be made of all buildings within the municipality or by contract, as allowed under the Ohio Fire Code and National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA) except for one and two-family residential buildings occupied by the property owner of record. The Fire Chief shall serve written notice upon the owners to abate, within a specified time, any and all fire hazards that may be found therein.
