§ 37.30  LONGEVITY PLAN.
   (A)    It is the desire to reward employees for their dedication to serving Tipp City. Therefore, a full-time, part-time or permanent part-time employee who has completed five years of continuous service from the date of hire, shall receive in addition to their base salary, longevity pay based on the following schedule:
      (1)   After completion of five years of service, $.16/hr.
      (2)   After completion of eight years of service, $0.21/hr.
      (3)   After completion of 12 years of service, $0.26/hr.
      (4)   After completion of 15 years of service, $0.31/hr.
      (5)   After completion of 18 years of service, $0.36/hr.
      (6)   After completion of 21 years of service, $0.44/hr.
   (B)   Salaried employees shall be paid longevity pay in an annualized amount (hourly rate x 2080) on the first pay of December each year.
   (C)   Longevity shall be paid for completed, continuous years of full-time employment with the city.  Service with any other political subdivision will not be credited toward city longevity.  Salaried employees that leave the service of the city prior to their anniversary date, shall receive a prorated payment based on the hours worked prior to leaving employment.
