§ 155.04(J)  SIDEWALKS AND PEDESTRIAN/BIKE WAYS
   (1)   Sidewalks
      (a)   Sidewalks shall be required on both sides of all streets in all areas zoned for residential uses and/or as delineated on the Tipp City Thoroughfare Plan.
      (b)   The Planning Board, upon recommendation from the City Engineer, shall determine the need for sidewalks in business or other nonresidential zoning districts.
      (c)   Sidewalks shall be constructed of Portland cement concrete in accordance with the specifications contained in the Tipp City Subdivision Design and Construction Standards.
      (d)   All sidewalks shall be constructed with a minimum width of 4 feet, and this width may be increased as deemed appropriate by the city.
      (e)   All sidewalks at intersection shall include the truncated dome handicapped ramp as mandated by the Tipp City Subdivision Design and Construction Standards.
   (2)   Pedestrian/Bike Ways
      (a)   Pedestrian/bike ways at least 10 feet in width shall be required as delineated on the Tipp City Thoroughfare Plan.
      (b)   No pedestrian/bike way shall exceed a 15% grade unless steps of an acceptable design, as determined by the City, are to be constructed.
