§ 34.056  DIVISION OF PUBLIC WORKS.
   (A)   The Division of Public Works shall be under the direction of the Public Works Superintendent, who shall be accountable to the Director of Municipal Services or his or her designee.
   (B)   The division shall perform the following functions:
      (1)   Maintain, repair, construct, improve, and extend the public streets and storm sewer systems of the city;
      (2)   Erect, construct, apply and maintain all street signs and traffic-control signs and markings within the public right-of-way; and
      (3)   Assist other departments in performing their work and/or other duties as assigned by the Director of Municipal Services and/or the City Manager, which may include maintenance, repair, and construction of any storm, water lines, or sanitary sewer lines of the municipality.
