§ 34.001 DIVISION INTO DEPARTMENTS.

   (A)   The administrative services of the municipality shall be divided, under the City Manager, into the following departments and divisions based upon the organizational chart as approved by the Council from time-to-time. The City Manager may hire department heads to oversee the departments and divisions thereof:

      (1)   Department of Finance Payroll;

      (2)   Department of Human Resources;

      (3)   Department of Law;

      (4)   Department of Public Safety;

      (5)   Department of Community Development and Revitalization;

      (6)   Department of Municipal Services.

   (B)   The City Manager may create divisions within each department if needed, with Council consent.
