Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $500. Each day a violation continues or occurs shall be considered a separate offense. Nothing in this section shall be construed to limit any other legal remedies as may be available to the village under the provisions of the building code or as otherwise provided by law.
