§ 122.08 COMPLAINTS; PENALTIES; SANCTIONS FOR PERFORMANCE FAILURES.
   (A)   The Administrative Commander shall keep a log of complaints against vehicle towing services and/or alleged failures to meet the requirements of this chapter. He or she shall then conduct an investigation regarding the complaint to determine its validity.
   (B)   Upon determining after investigation that a complaint is sustained, the Chief of Police may, in his or her discretion, order that the vehicle towing service be:
      (1)   Suspended for one or more scheduled rotations;
      (2)   Cited for a violation of the Illinois Compiled Statutes;
      (3)   Cited for a violation of the Village Code; and/or
      (4)   Permanently removed from the vehicle towing list.
   (C)   Any action taken by the Chief of Police pursuant to this section shall be appealable to the Village Manager, who is authorized to affirm, reverse or modify the decision of the Chief of Police.
