(A) It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to sell, offer for sale, or barter any ice cream, frozen dessert, soft drink, soda water, or merchandise of like character on the streets, highways, alleys, or public ways within the village from any vehicle.
(B) This section applies only to retail transactions.
(C) For purposes of this section, a vehicle is any device in, upon, or by which a person or property is or may be transported, whether powered by motor, person, or animal, including but not limited to any vehicle that is subject to registration under the ILCS Ch. 525, Act 5 §§ 1-100 et seq.
