(A) Except as specifically allowed by statute or other ordinance, the maximum width, length and height of any vehicle and its load shall not exceed the limits stated in § 15-102 (width), § 15-103 (height) or § 15-107 (length) of the Illinois Vehicle Code (ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, §§ 15-102, 15-103 and 15-107).
(B) Whenever any vehicle is found to be in violation of this section, or of a violation of §§ 15-102, 15-103 or 15-107 of the Illinois Vehicle Code (ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, §§ 15-102, 15-103 and 15-107) when written as a local ordinance violation pursuant to § 70.50 of this code, the owner or driver shall be deemed guilty of such violation, and either the owner or driver may be prosecuted for such violation.
(C) Any person, firm or corporation found liable of a width, height or length violation under this section, or of a violation of §§ 15-102, 15-103 or 15-107 of the Illinois Vehicle Code (ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, §§ 15-102, 15-103 or 15-107), when written as a local ordinance violation pursuant to § 70.50 of this code, shall be fined for the first or second violation not less than $50 nor more than $500 for each offense, and for the third and subsequent violations by the same person, firm or corporation within a period of one year after the date of the first offense, not less than $500 nor more than $1,000.
