§ 33.04 POLICE COMMANDER.
   (A)   There is hereby created the position of Police Commander, a supervisory office of the village Police Department.
   (B)   The Police Commander(s) shall be third in command of the Police Department and shall perform such administrative and supervisory functions as shall be assigned by the Chief of Police and/or the Deputy Chief of Police.
   (C)   The Police Commander(s) shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees, and with input from the Chief of Police.
   (D)   The Police Commander(s) shall receive such compensation as the Board of Trustees shall fix from time to time.
