(A) There is created a Police Department, an executive department of the village.
(B) The Police Department shall consist of the Chief of Police and such members as may be provided for from time to time by the President and Board of Trustees.
(C) All full-time sworn members of the Police Department are required to reside within a 30-mile radius measured from any border or village limit of Tinley Park within 12 months of employment date. Residency in Indiana is not permitted.
