(a) Whenever any property owner or group of property owners submits a petition for a proposed rezoning or amendment to this Zoning Code, a rezoning fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) shall accompany such petition. Such fee shall be used by the Clerk-Treasurer to defray the costs of legal notices, publication and advertising.
(b) Whenever a rezoning or amendment to this Zoning Code is initiated by Council or the Planning Commission, costs of advertising, legal notices and publication shall be charged to the Legal Advertising Fund of the General Fund of the Village.
