1042.01 FINDING OF FACT; DEFINITIONS.
   (a)   It is hereby determined and declared to be necessary and conducive to the public health, safety, welfare and convenience of the Village and its inhabitants, to operate the sanitary sewers and appurtenances in Timberlake as a public utility and to levy and collect sewer service charges upon all lands, lots and premises served by such sewerage system, and such charges, when collected, shall be used for the purposes hereinafter provided.
   (b)   The term "sewage" shall mean the water or water-borne wastes which enter the system of sewerage or any portion thereof of the village. The term "system of sewerage" shall mean the sanitary sewers, sewage disposal works, treatment plants and sewage pumping stations, together with all facilities and appurtenances necessary and proper therefor.
