820.02 LICENSE REQUIRED; EXCEPTIONS.

(a) No person shall engage in business as a peddler, or in the sale of goods as a transient dealer, within the Village, without first having obtained a license therefor from the Mayor or the person designated by him or her.

(b) The provisions of subsection (a) hereof shall not apply to persons selling by sample only, nor to the sale of any agricultural articles or products offered or exposed for sale by the producer thereof.
