R.O.W. vending licenses may be obtained for commercial use of parking spaces or shoulders upon approval by the City Council after review and sign-off of a complete application by the City Planner, City Public Works Director, City Fire Marshal/Chief and City Chief of Police, as applicable. A detailed proposal and application from the applicant shall be submitted for consideration. The approval shall consider such concerns as the impacts related traffic volumes, safety, sanitation, public sealing, surrounding businesses and accessibility, and may have mitigating conditions attached; however, shall be entirely discretionary. The fee for an on-street vendor’s license shall be $85 for an application and $400 per month per parking space or equivalent, if approved. The approved section shall be posted for no parking by the applicant, with city approved signs.
