§ 34.069 EXAMINATIONS AND INVESTIGATIONS.
   The city, or its duly authorized agents, may make any examination of the accounts, records, stocks, facilities and equipment of dealers, subdealers, service stations and other persons engaged in storing, selling or distributing motor vehicle fuel or other petroleum product or products within the city, and any other investigations as it considers necessary in carrying out the provisions of this subchapter, if the examinations or investigation disclose that any reports of dealers, subdealers or other person theretofore filed with the city pursuant to the requirements herein have shown incorrectly the amount of gallonage of motor vehicle fuel distributed or the tax accruing thereon, the city may make changes in subsequent reports and payments to the dealers, subdealers or other persons, or may make any refunds as may be necessary to correct the errors disclosed by its examinations or investigations.
