153.01 ENTERPRISE ZONE COMMITTEE.

   There is hereby created an Enterprise Zone Committee. The Committee's voting membership shall be composed of the three members of the Law and Community Planning Committee of Council. The Committee's non-voting ex-officio members shall be the Mayor and Director of Law of the City, the President of the Seneca Industrial and Economic Development Corporation and the Superintendent of Tiffin Public Schools or his designate. This Committee shall be chaired by the chairman of the Law and Community Planning Committee of Council.

153.02 PURPOSE OF ENTERPRISE ZONE.

   The enterprise zone in the City is intended to be used as a tool for the economic revitalization of the community by providing local and state tax incentives to businesses which create or retain jobs in the City by investing in plants, equipment and inventory.
