139.04 AMERICANS WITH DISABILITY ACT (ADA) COORDINATOR.
   (a)   The City Administrator shall be the ADA Coordinator for the implementation and continuation of the City's compliance with the Americans With Disability Act (ADA).
   (b)   The ADA Coordinator shall:
      (1)   Conduct an evaluation of current services, policies and practices, including employment practices of the City and modify them as necessary to maintain compliance with the ADA Act.
      (2)   Adopt and maintain a grievance procedure for handling complaints concerning allegations that the City is not complying with the ADA Act and take such action as necessary to comply with those allegations found to be true.
      (3)   Provide public notices of the rights and protections provided by the ADA Act.
      (4)   Post and maintain signs at all entrances to municipal facilities indicating either that the entrance is accessible or directing individuals to one that is.
      (5)   Provide such other services within the City that are mandated by the ADA Act. (Ord. 92-1. Passed 3-2-92.)
