(a) The use of Underwriters-Approved, Class "C" fire retardant-treated wood shakes and shingles are permitted as primary roof coverings in residential areas within the corporate limits of the City.
(b) Treated shakes or shingles may be used only as decorative facade or for other decorative purposes or use.
(c) Treated shakes or shingles are prohibited for use in the fire districts as a primary roof covering.
(d) The use of nontreated or nonfire-retardant wood shakes or shingles for primary roof covering anywhere within the corporate limits of the City is prohibited.
