905.09 PROHIBITED CONNECTIONS; ROOF DRAINAGE.
   (a)   No downspout, foundation drain, septic tank, cesspool or leach field shall be connected to a house sewer connection, nor shall any such connection be allowed to remain. The owners of all buildings situated within the City are required at their expense to disconnect all such existing prohibited connections from sanitary and combined sewers.
   (b)   The City Engineer, or any employee of the City under the direct supervision of the City Engineer, is hereby empowered and authorized after reasonable notice to the occupant, owner or tenant to enter upon any premises to inspect any building or installation on the premises for the purpose of ascertaining the conditions and types of connections of all sewers, drains, pipes, etc.
   (c)   If in the opinion of the City Engineer, any connection is directly or indirectly discharging storm water into any separate sewer designed for sanitary wastes only, he shall order such connection to be corrected, so that no storm water may be discharged into any of the separate sanitary sewers.
