(a) Trash collection containers placed by the City in and upon sidewalks, parks and other public places are for the collection of trash generated by pedestrian traffic, picnics and similar public activities. No person shall transport trash or rubbish from a residence, business or vehicle and deposit such trash in such public trash containers.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
