3-1-5: CANCEL AND DELIVERY OF WARRANTS:
It shall be the duty of the City Clerk, at any time after the redemption and payment of any special improvement or sewer district warrants, as hereinafter mentioned, to cancel and deliver the same to the City Clerk and take his receipt therefor, to the end that such warrants when paid and cancelled shall be properly filed in the office of the City Clerk.
