A. Base: In the Buttelman addition in the city, Adams and California Streets in said addition shall be taken and used as a base of numbering houses fronting on streets, avenues and highways within said Buttelman addition. (1977 Code § 11.58.060)
B. Easterly And Westerly Numbering: On streets, avenues and highways running easterly and westerly in said Buttelman addition, numbering shall commence with number one on California Street and its extensions, and increase in each direction from said California Street one hundred (100) numbers for each block or space between two (2) streets; and to distinguish such numbers, the streets aforesaid shall be designated; reckoning from California Street, as East Jefferson Street, and West Jefferson Street, and East Front Street, and West Front Street, and the same with all other streets running at right angles with and crossing California Street. C. Northerly And Southerly Numbering: On streets, avenues and highways running northerly and southerly in said Buttelman addition, the numbering shall commence with number one on Adams Street, and its extensions on the east side of California Street, and increase in each direction from Adams Street one hundred (100) numbers for each block or space between two (2) streets, and to distinguish such numbers, the streets, avenues and highways shall be designated; reckoning from said Adams Street, at North Arizona Street, and South Arizona Street, North Colorado West, and South Colorado West; and the same in all other streets, avenues and highways running at right angles with and crossing said Adams Street.
