A. Easterly And Westerly Numbering: On streets, avenues and highways running easterly and westerly in the city, numbering shall commence with number one on Main Street and its extensions, and increase in each direction from Main Street one hundred (100) numbers for each block, or space between two (2) streets; and, to distinguish such numbers, the streets aforesaid shall be designated reckoning from Main Street as East Neal Street; and West Neal Street, East Ash Street, and West Ash Street, and the same with all other streets running at right angles with and crossing Main Street. B. Northerly And Southerly Numbering: On streets, avenues and highways running northerly and southerly in the city, the numbering shall commence with number one on Ash Street, and its extensions on the east side of Main Street, and at number one on Ash Street, and its extensions on the west side of Main Street, and increase in each direction from Ash Street one hundred (100) numbers for each block or space between streets; and to distinguish such numbers, the streets, avenues and highways shall be designated; reckoning from said Ash Street, North First Avenue East, First Avenue East, North First Avenue West, First Avenue West; and the same with all other streets running at right angles with and crossing said Ash Street.
