§ 50.07 TRACKER ADJUSTMENT FOR ELECTRIC UTILITIES.
   (A)   Tracker adjustment.
      (1)   The electric utility is incurring costs associated with providing electric service that are not covered by the current rate structure of § 50.06, and it being necessary to recoup said costs, the Town Council finds it necessary to adopt a rate tracker.
      (2)   All other provisions of § 50.06 and other ordinances relating to electric rate and charges shall remain in full force and effect.
   (B)   Establishment of rate tracker.

Where:
 
T = The tracker in dollars per kilowatt-hour (kWh). This tracker is applied on a per-kWh basis to all metered sales of electricity
 
C = The projected cost of power (electricity) purchased by the town utility in the upcoming quarter
 
n = Period of next tracker (quarterly)
 
r = Period of the town’s utility last retail electric rate change
 
S = The kWh expected to be sold to the town utility’s retail customers in the upcoming quarter
 
   (C)   Effective date. This section shall take effect upon its signing.
