In the event of an illness or injury that temporarily renders the Town Clerk/Treasurer incapable of fulfilling his or her duties of Financial Officer, the Town Council President is hereby designated to be the alternate signer of the town account, the payroll account, and the three utility accounts (electric, sewer, and water), until such time when the Clerk/Treasurer is able to return to his or her duties.
