§ 33.37 POLICIES.
   The following policies shall control the appointment and function of the police reserves.
   (A)   The police reserves force is a volunteer function of the Police Department authorized by the Town Council. The authorized strength is 15 members.
   (B)   The reserves shall function within the policy guidelines, rules, and regulations established for all regular officers of the Department.
   (C)   (1)   Reserve officers shall be appointed and sworn by the Town Council and Town Marshal and be identified and function as Deputy Marshals.
      (2)   As deputies, they shall perform their duties as law officers for the town as assigned by the Town Marshal.
