§ 34.18 CASH CHANGE FUND.
   The Clerk/Treasurer of the Town of Thorntown be allowed to establish a Cash Change Fund, subject to the following provisions of I.C. 36-1-8-2:
   (A)   The Clerk/Treasurer has a duty to collect cash revenues;
   (B)   The Clerk/Treasurer from time to time must make change when collecting cash revenues;
   (C)   The Cash Change Fund shall be established by a warrant drawn on the appropriate fund of the political subdivision in favor of the officer (Clerk/Treasurer), in the amount of $150, without need for appropriation;
   (D)   The Clerk/Treasurer who establishes the fund shall convert the warrant to cash and use it to make change when collecting cash revenues;
   (E)   The Clerk/Treasurer shall account for the Cash Change Fund in the same manner as is required for other funds of the political subdivision;
   (F)   The fiscal body shall require the entire Cash Change Fund to be returned to the appropriate fund whenever there is a change in the custodian of the fund or the fund is no longer needed; and
   (G)   This section shall be in full force and effect from and after passage.
