Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of an ordinance violation, and on conviction thereof, shall be fined in any sum not exceeded the amount required to be paid for a license under this chapter. Each day any person engages in the business of itinerant merchant or solicitor in violation of the provisions of this chapter shall constitute a separate offense.
