A. Basic Charge: The basic charge for use of water from the Town water system shall be thirty four dollars seventy five cents ($34.75) per month, which shall be adjusted to the number of equivalent connections utilized by each user on the system, minimum being one. Each paid equivalent connection is entitled to use up to thirty thousand (30,000) gallons in a given month when water usage is metered. One bill will be sent per meter regardless of equivalent connections.
B. Excess Of Base Volume: All water used in excess of the base volume by any connection in a month, when metered, will be charged one dollar fifty cents ($1.50) per one thousand (1,000) gallons. The Town will not charge for water used above the base amount of thirty thousand (30,000) gallons per month from the first business day of November to the first business day of May to encourage users to leave a small stream of water running to prevent freezing of service lines.
C. Classifications, Equivalent Connections: Users shall have the following classifications and equivalent connections:

D. Larger Meters; Uses Not Listed: The Town shall determine equivalent connections for any residence requiring a service and meter larger than one inch (1") and any other use not listed above, at the time of approval of an application for connection to the Town water system.
E. Users Outside Town: When water service is provided to users outside the Town limits, the rate shall be one hundred twenty five percent (125%) of the regular basic user charges, which shall be adjusted to the number of equivalent connections utilized by each user on the system. Each paid equivalent connection is entitled to use up to thirty thousand (30,000) gallons in a given month when water usage is metered.
