8-1-4: CONNECTION; HOW OBTAINED; CONNECTION FEES:
A.   Application; Fees: Any person desiring to obtain a supply of water from the Town water system shall submit an application to the Town Clerk. The application is available at Town Hall or on the Town website. If any easements are required in order for the applicant to connect to the Town water system, the applicant shall supply such easement in written form, duly acknowledged, along with the application. The fees for connection to the Town water system shall be based upon the size of the pipe required for the service line running from the City water main to the property of the applicant for the following pipe sizes (meter size shall match the size of the service line running to the property line).

B.   Service Line Fees: Residential fees for service lines which fall between and above the listed connection sizes shall be determined by the Town Council.
C.   Fire Suppression Systems: Buildings designed with fire suppression systems shall have a separate connection and shall pay a standard connection fee for lines up to four inches (4"). Fees for fire connections above four inches (4") shall be determined by the Town Council.
D.   When Fees Due: For applicants applying for water service to an existing lot, both the impact fee and the connection fee are due at the time of application. The connection fee shall be paid at the time of application for water service to a lot. (Ord. 275)
