5-7-1: INTERFERENCE WITH POLICE DEPARTMENT:
No person shall resist any police officer, any member of the Police Department, or any person duly empowered with police authority while in the discharge or apparent discharge of his duty, or in any way interfere with or hinder such officer in the discharge of his duty and, upon conviction thereof, such person shall be punished as provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code.
