Monies shall be appropriated from the Ambulance Service Fund of the Town for operating expenses of the ambulance service. In addition, the ambulance service is authorized to raise funds and solicit donations through social activities, for the purpose of defraying expenses of the service, which funds shall be turned over to and earmarked by the Treasurer for disbursement in accordance with applicable ordinances and Wyoming Statutes for emergency medical service purposes. No member of the department or any other person shall contract any indebtedness on behalf of the service unless authorized to do so with approval by the Mayor. If allowed by Wyoming Statutes, the service may maintain separate accounts for funds received from public entities and funds received from private sources.
