(A) It is unlawful for any citizen over the age of 18 years to refuse or neglect to render assistance to any police officer when called upon for that assistance or aid in the suppression of riot or other unlawful assemblage or in the arrest of any person who has committed an offense.
(B) It is unlawful for any person to willfully interfere with, resist, delay, obstruct, molest or threaten to molest any officer or any member of the Police or Fire Departments, Building Inspector or Animal Control Officer of the town in the exercise of his or her official duties or knowingly and maliciously give any false information to any officer of the town.
