2-1-2: BORROWING MONEY:
The town council has power to contract an indebtedness on behalf of the town, upon the credit thereof, by borrowing money or issuing bonds for the purposes and to the extent specified by the constitution and laws of the state of Montana. (1976 Code § 3.04.020)
