1-7-2: QUALIFICATIONS OF COUNCIL MEMBERS:
No person is eligible for the office of council member unless such person is a resident for at least sixty (60) days preceding the election to office of the ward electing the person, or of an area which has been annexed by the town and placed in the ward. (1976 Code § 2.12.010; amd. 2016 Code)
