(A) The fees for the processing of an application for a building permit shall be those fees as set forth on Attachment “A” of Ordinance 9-1-2015, which exhibit is hereby adopted and incorporated by reference and shall be treated as if set forth in full herein. Such fee schedule shall be the same as established by the Department of Building Inspections of Hamilton County, Ohio, as modified by the recommendations of the Municipal Building Official, all of which are set forth on the adopted fee schedule. It is hereby determined that such fee schedule reasonably reflects the administrative costs associated with the building permit process. In addition, all applications for permits shall require a $25 processing fee, payable to the municipality, which fee shall be paid upon application for a building permit, subject to the following. This $25 fee shall not be refunded even if the application is denied, but shall be applied as a credit to the permit fee set forth in the adopted fee schedule if the permit is approved and issued. Upon request, the Building Official shall furnish all applicants with the schedule of fees as adopted in this section.
(B) The Village Building Official does not issue building permits for nonresidential improvements. The Building Department of Hamilton County is responsible for the issuance of such building permits. However, no such building permits shall be issued by Hamilton County without a notice of approval by the Village of Terrace Park that the construction proposed in the building application is permitted pursuant to the zoning regulations of the Village of Terrace Park. The issuance of such a notice of approval shall be deemed to be a zoning certificate for nonresidential property. A fee schedule is hereby adopted and incorporated herein by reference as set forth on Attachment “A” to Ordinance 9-1-2015. Any applicant requesting a zoning certificate for nonresidential property shall pay a fee in accordance with said fee schedule which shall accompany the application for the zoning certificate.
