§ 50.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   ALLEY. A public way at the rear or side of a residence not in excess of 20 feet in width as a dedicated way.
   DECOMPOSABLE. To cause chemical disintegration of organic matter, which includes tree limbs, grass clippings, brush, wood, and the like. For the purpose of this definition, stones and gravel are included within the meaning of decomposable.
   DISPOSABLE ITEMS. Decomposable and nondecomposable items, and includes all material to be discarded which does not fall within the meaning of garbage.
   GARBAGE. Refuse resulting from the preparation, cooking and dispensing of food.
   NONDECOMPOSABLE. The opposite of decomposable, and includes such items as metal, glass, appliances, plastic items and furniture.
   TRASH. Has the same meaning as disposable items, and includes all material which is to be discarded which does not fall within the meaning of garbage.
