7-2-11: WASH RACK BUSINESSES:
   A.   Sump Required To Prevent Entry Of Dirt, Grease: Any owner or operator of any wash rack for the washing and cleaning of any automobile, truck or motor vehicle within the Town shall provide the same with a proper sump, and any refuse or waste material run from said sump into the sewer system of the Town shall be siphoned from said sump in such a manner so that all grease, dirt and refuse shall remain in the said sump and shall not be carried into the sewer line of said Town. (1986 Code § 19-109)
   B.   Inspection Required: Any such sumps and siphons shall be inspected and approved by the Sewer Commissioner and shall not be used until so inspected and approved, and any connection or connections or siphon so installed shall not be in any manner altered after such inspection without the approval of the Sewer Commissioner. The sumps used in connection with such wash racks shall be kept clean so that such siphon shall not become clogged, and shall be cleaned at once upon request of the Sewer Commissioner.    C.   Right Of Entry: The Mayor or the Sewer Commissioner, or any officer or employee of the Town so authorized by either the Mayor or the Sewer Commissioner, shall have the right to enter upon any premises where such a wash rack is being maintained at any reasonable hour of the day to inspect the same, and to ascertain if the provisions of this section are being violated.
