A. Hearing: The Town Council finds that it is in the best interests of the Town to exclude from the corporate limits of the Town the lands hereinafter described, and the Town Council further finds that no owner of any property to be excluded has registered an objection thereto as provided by law, and also finds that after due notice, a hearing upon the intended action to so exclude said hereinafter described land was had according to said published notice and that no reason exists which would prevent the exclusion of said hereinafter described land. B. Land Description: There is hereby excluded from the corporate limits of the Town the following described lands:
A tract of land in the SE1/4SE1/4 Section 17, NE1/4NE1/4, Section 20, NW1/4NW1/4 and NE1/4NW1/4 Section 21, T.47N., R.88W., of the Original Survey, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of Section 16, T.47N., R.88W. of the Original Survey, thence S.0°13'W., 612 feet along the east line of Section 20; thence N.89°32'E., 260 feet; thence N.32°02'E., 142.64 feet; thence S.87°32'E., 323.33 feet; thence N.28°43'E., 265.10 feet; thence N.78°06'E., 333.85 feet; thence S.49°13'E., 320.51 feet; thence N.65°47'E., 550.08 feet; thence N.58°38'W., 346.67 feet to a point on the north line of the NE1/4NW1/4 Section 21; thence N.89°32'E., 94.8 feet; thence S.58°38'E., 361.0 feet; thence S.65°47'W., 676.8 feet; thence N.49°13'W., 327.6 feet; thence S.78°06'W., 286.1 feet; thence S.28°43'W., 273.2 feet; thence N.87°32'W., 325.3 feet; thence S.32°02'W., 706.3 feet; thence N.86°16'W., 334.4 feet; thence N.0°13'E., 1097.3 feet to the south line of Section 17; thence N.0°28'W., 400 feet to the north right of way line of State Highway N. U.S. 16; thence easterly along said north right of way line approximately 330 feet to the east line of Section 17; thence S.1°03'E., 446 feet along the east line of Section 17 to the southeast corner of said Section 17, which is the point of beginning.

C. Filing Plat: The Mayor is hereby authorized to file in the Office of the County Clerk a plat with the appropriate legend showing the change made in the boundary of the Town by such exclusion. (1986 Code § 6-103)
