9-2-0: PURPOSE:

The provisions of this chapter are adopted pursuant to the subdivision map act (section 66411 et seq., of the Government Code; hereafter "act") for the purpose of regulating the design and improvement of subdivisions, and regulating other divisions of land within the city.
