(A) The customer information, related directly to a customer’s name or specific location or account may only be disseminated to specific agencies.
(B) Agencies who may receive specific information are:
(1) Government agencies, when a written request is made on the agency’s letterhead, when the request is authorized by an officer of the agency, and when a specific reason is given for requesting the information.
(2) Any agency which has power of subpoena, upon written request, over the signature of an officer of the agency.
(3) Any agency which has statutory police power or which has authority as a statutory agency of public safety, upon written request, over the signature of an officer of the agency. Any agency which has made a written request upon the Access to Public Records Act and which has complied with all of the requirements of the Access to Public Records Act. Certification of compliance with the Access to Public Records Act shall be made by the department’s attorney before dissemination of the information.
